A Friday Practice for Leaving Last Month More Honest Than You Entered It

Before we leave this first month, I want to offer one final practice.

Not a grand resolution.

Not a promise to become a different person by next week.

Just a way of leaving this month more honest than you entered it.

Take a few quiet minutes and complete these three lines:

One pattern I can now name more clearly is...
What that pattern has been protecting me from is...
One small place I want to interrupt it next is...

That is enough.

Enough to mark the month.

Enough to turn reflection into a more conscious relationship with your own life.

Enough to remind yourself that self-understanding does not need to be dramatic to be real.

Sometimes the most faithful kind of growth is simply this:

seeing more clearly,

speaking more honestly,

and remaining present long enough for a different choice to become imaginable.

Thank you for being here for Month 1.

We will continue next month.

And we will continue not with perfection, but with better language for the lives we are actually living.
