History keeps giving us the same test. Are you passing?

The printing machine centuries ago and computer today

Rekindle Press

There's a pattern to every great disruption.

It happened with the printing press. It happened with the railroad. It happened with the internet.

And it's happening right now β€” louder, faster, and more personally than any of those.

Here's the pattern:

Group 1 freezes. They wait for things to "settle." They figure the disruption is for someone younger, someone more technical, someone who didn't already build a career the hard way. They stay busy doing what they know β€” even as the ground shifts under them.

Group 2 gets curious. Not reckless. Not obsessed. Curious. They ask: "If this thing is real β€” and I can see that it is β€” then what does it mean for me? How do I use it before I get used by it?"

Gutenberg's press created Group 1 and Group 2 in 1450.

The scribes who ignored it? Their monasteries closed within a generation.

The printers who adopted it? They became the media empires of their day.

Today's World, Same Test

This morning, the headlines are loud:

The U.S. Trade Court just ruled Trump's 10% tariffs unconstitutional β€” the kind of economic uncertainty that makes every small business owner nervous.

U.S.-Iran tensions are escalating after strikes near the Strait of Hormuz β€” markets are watching.

The EU has until July 4 to ink a trade deal β€” or face consequences.

Here's what strikes me about all of this: the world is in a pressure cooker right now. Businesses are being squeezed on cost, on policy, on labor, on reach.

And yet β€” the entrepreneurs who are moving the fastest right now?

They've replaced an entire marketing department with AI tools. They're producing content at scale. They're building audiences while their competitors are distracted by the noise.

That's not a coincidence.

Disruption always creates a gap between those who react and those who position.

The Replacement Frame

I don't tell people to "add AI to their workflow."

That's Group 1 thinking β€” treating AI like a new app you install next to everything else.

I think about it as replacement.

What if you could replace the drag of being your own entire marketing department?

Not outsource it to someone else. Not hire a team you can't afford. But genuinely replace the exhausting, repetitive grind of:

  • Writing every email from scratch
  • Figuring out what to post next
  • Spending weekends catching up on content nobody reads

That's what the right system does. And it's why middle-aged professionals β€” people who actually have something to say and a life they've earned β€” are quietly becoming the most dangerous marketers on the internet right now.

We're not starting from zero. We're starting from experience.

The Encore You Didn't Know Was Coming

When I told you about Russell Brunson's AI Secrets Challenge β€” I meant it as a one-time window.

The cart closed May 6.

Then something unusual happened: they opened an Encore.

The challenge is running again. New cohort. Same 10-day implementation experience. Same strategies I personally went through β€” the ones I reorganized my entire two weeks around, got my wife's buy-in for, and funded by auditing every subscription I was paying for apps that AI had quietly made obsolete.

If you missed it the first time β€” or if you saw it and hesitated β€” this is your second shot.

Cart closes May 20, 2026.

I'm still offering what I offered the first round: a private implementation group for anyone who joins through my link. This isn't a chat room. It's a working group for people who want to move fast and not figure it out alone.

The Takeaway for Today

The tariffs. The tensions. The trade deadlines.

All of it is noise at the macro level β€” but signal at the personal level.

The signal is this: the cost of doing business the old way is going up.

The cost of doing business the new way is going down β€” fast.

Which group are you in?

The answer isn't permanent. You can switch. But the window for switching on favorable terms doesn't stay open forever.

Choose curious.

P.S. β€” The encore window is May 8–20. After that, I don't know when (or if) this opens again. If you're even slightly curious, click through and look. You can always decide no. But you can't decide yes after the cart closes.
